Write anywhere. Branch any phrase into a parallel side note. The red thread keeps the connection.

Canvas

Write a new note	Double-tap empty canvas, or `N`
Open a note for writing	Double-tap it (touch: also long-press)
Move a note	Drag it
Resize a note	Drag its right edge while selected
Select several	Drag across empty canvas (mouse), or `Ctrl` `A` for all
Pan	Drag with touch / `Space` + drag, middle mouse, or scroll
Zoom	Pinch, or `Ctrl` + scroll, or `+` `−`
See everything	`F` or the fit button

Threads

Annotate a phrase	While writing, select text → Annotate
Follow an annotation	Tap the underlined phrase
Connect two notes	Drag the ○ handle of a selected note onto another
Branch a new note	Drag the ○ handle onto empty canvas
Remove a thread	Tap it, then ✕ or `Delete`
Reference another page	Select a note → the ⧉ button — backlinks are listed there too

Draw & images

Tools	`V` select · `P` pen · `M` marker · `E` eraser
Shapes	`R` rectangle · `O` ellipse · `L` line · `A` arrow
Color & weight	Pick from the panel beside the dock
Add an image	Paste it, drop a file, or use the dock's image button
Move / resize / remove ink & images	Switch to select, then drag, pull the corner, or `Delete`
Two fingers	Always pan & zoom, in any tool

While writing

Markdown	`# heading` `bold` `italic` `code` `- list` `> quote` `---` `[link](url)`
Finish	`Esc`, `Ctrl` `Enter`, or tap outside

Everything else

Search	Search every page — `/` or `Ctrl` `K`
Undo · Redo	`Ctrl` `Z` · `Ctrl` `Shift` `Z`
Delete selection	`Delete`
Copy · paste selection	`Ctrl` `C` · `Ctrl` `V` — works across pages
Nudge selected note	Arrow keys (`Shift` for fine)
Pages	Sidebar on the left — stays open; the pages button hides it
Saving	Automatic, as you type
Save a copy · load	Export and Load buttons in the toolbar (PNG · JSON). Export downloads every page; old single-page files still load
